Grundy County High School New 1,000-Seat Grandstand

Grundy County High School in Coalmont, Tennessee chose Sightlines Athletic Facilities and Outdoor Aluminum to develop their new home side grandstand to replace an old concrete bleacher that was being used as the visitor side.  We came up with a 1,067-seat design that complements the facility perfectly and includes a press box sized for their needs.  Within the design is a custom pass-through for the team to enter the field from under the stand.  One challenge with the site was poor soil conditions which Outdoor Aluminum engineers, along with the soils engineering team designed a foundation just right for the site.  Completed in time for a May graduation, we are excited to be a part of this school’s new facility.
